HDPE stands for High Density Polyethylene and has been around since 1953. Throughout the years, HDPE has been used in various applications to include Pipe, Toys, Household Materials, Marine applications and yes our HDPE Outdoor Cabinets! The type of HDPE that we use is a Marine Grade Polymer. If you’ve ever been on a boat, then you’ve likely seen this material. What we love about HDPE for our outdoor cabinets is that it is extremely durable, won’t mold, won’t rust, won’t rot, and won’t retain harmful bacteria. We also love the fact that our cabinets hold up to the South Florida environment.
